Admins of the group
There is a few there who are inactive but more of the ways of not even popping
in to day hi or anything. As for admin job wise there hasnt been much to admin
so at least that is one for that. Maybe messaging out to see if they are alive
at all or have dropped off the Minitokyo world. If it comes down to it and we
decide to purge the admin maybe like in the style of doing like the members,
sending message saying just respond if you are alive (and of course still
interested in being a UA admin) and then if there is no response after that then
drop them down to member status.
As for replacing them hmmm seriously I dont think there is any active members
that could fill that position atm or any who have shared anything that would
really help towards the group.
Member acceptance criteria
I think this is still perfectly acceptable. A lot of the old times are getting
more highlights on their work (hope scans dont count cause I seem to be getting
highlighted alot XP) To be appreciated is to be recognized for your work overall
and so far the only people I see that happening to is misa and Ephie. So does
that mean we kick you two out of the group :P please dont do that I dont wanna
be alone.
Sharing Techniques and Skills
Tutorial format is fine, test posts get lost along the way and find it hard to
get back to see them. If anyone needs any help Im sure we can perk up and give
instructions and helping hints via the guestbook but the way it is now is
fine.
What competitions do you want to see in
2007?
Cross group would be great, I think it gives more incentive to pop out of the
hole and actually participate. I share the same view as everyone else in keeping
the UA Theme going, its like our tradition and come on people you dont want my
crappiness to win by default :P come join me with the Copycat theme.
As for something like prizes well that will put someone out to do them maybe if
someone wins a round the best thing I can think of is like LJ Icon comps where
the winner gets a banner they can use and do with as they see fit. As it is now
we are all like *sigh* life is hard so anything higher than that (unless someone
is actively willing to sort out something prize wise) isnt really
worthwhile.
On side note I think we do need to become more active something to motivate us
into actually participating and overall generally being a group again. Dont ask
me what as I am as guilty as everyone else but we need to get that fighting
spirit back! *smacks people around the head with lampy as a wakeup call*
Place for my head - Subtitles are still in it..subtitles big no no in AMVs it
ruins it. Next thing is that you didnt cut the parts properly so there is
flashes where the previous scene flashes up for no reason. Problem number three
was that the clips didnt fit the music very well. Sorry that one was
disapointing so I didnt watch the end of it.
Inanimate - Alot better than the other one but those subtitles are in it. The
only major problem I saw was some scenes were too drawn out and didnt fit the
music.
If you really wanna be serious about making AMVs try getting Premiere, it doesnt
take too long to work out how to use it and you can be more precise with it.

i say kill the dog cause if the dog destroyed the gamecube as well *shakes head*
it will keep on going and going until he has no gaming consoles left. I would
say goodbye to the dog rather than your life cause seriously if that was any of
my consoles I would kill you too.
Excellent work on the vector but your backgrounds need some work on them. I
agree with the first one was too simple. I love plain simple backgrounds if they
work but that one was too boring I would say it didnt fit with it. The 2nd
Version its got a bit to it but now there is too much colour and it doesnt
contrast. Takumi doesnt blend with the background at all, he sticks out like a
sore thumb and the wind/rain effect it would have looked alot better without it.
Plus the red really hurts the eyes when its on as a desktop pic.
But dont let it discourage you keep it up, I look forward to seeing another
attempt on it if your up for it. Btw is the original vector submitted at all? I
would really like to grab that
Resi 2 would have to be my all time favourite that game is classic can never get
bored of playing it. CV was a real let down specially for a PS2 release, i think
i played it once and then left it. Unfortunatley I dont have a game cube so the
remake and Zero and I have never touched But
its ranked dual number 1 winners (with MGS) for my all time fav game series.

the 20th time hehehe
1. Linkin Park is so overused basically now I look at an amv and if its Linkin
Park I wont even bother looking at it. Thier songs are so emo so everyone is
like oh I can do the most leetest amv to that. Bzzt wrong you are just
impressing the noobs. Mind you there are a couple of Linkin Park amvs that I
have that will never be beaten in terms of the way they are made but these were
back in the early days before every 2nd person used thier songs.
2. There is no perfect song, it all goes on the creators tastes. Usually people
tend to base thier songs around the atmosphere of the anime. With my personal
amvs and others that I look for I tend to break away from the popular songs and
go for the other ones that express other things. An excellent example is
VicBond007's amv to Excel Saga using Summer Overture. He turned the most
funniest crack anime into something that looked so depressing and sad. So I
would say the perfect song for an amv would be one that tends to lean away from
the others and stands out more
i say the PS3 will win even thou its boasting a almost $1000 AUD price tag on it
but gamers will pay for it. Sony has been dominating the market since the PSX
and I dont think the PS3 will let it down being highly anticipated.
Mind you I am a 360 fan also and after watching the E3 Nintendo press conference
I really would love to have a Wii but Sony will most likley win out again
Im looking forward to the drama series. A bit scared about being Takumi Saito,
KenKen and Rei Fujita as girls thou...well even thou Takumi has gone in drag
before but well yeah at least it will be interesting

Rikkaidai one hehehehe but for Tezuka I think he is getting more fan boys than
Atobe I mean Oishi has at least seen him since he got back from rehab so why the
